Deranged Killers - Green River Killer (2008)

"Investigators hunt for clues that will help them capture a killer believed to be responsible for the deaths of over 48 women in Washington State. The killer picks prostitutes because he thinks he can kill as many of them as he wants without getting caught. He chokes them to death. After his capture Gary Ridgway, the so-called Green River Killer, confesses to all of the murders, saying "Choking is what I did and I was pretty good at it."

Cannibal Holocaust (1980)

"A New York anthropologist named Professor Harold Monroe travels to the wild, inhospitable jungles of South America to find out what happened to a documentary film crew that disappeared two months before while filming a documentary about primitive cannibal tribes deep in the rain forest. With the help of two local guides, Professor Monroe encounters two tribes, the Yacumo and the Yanomamo. While under the hospitality of the latter tribe, he finds the remains of the crew and several reels of their undeveloped film. Upon returning to New York City, Professor Monroe views the film in detail, featuring the director Alan Yates, his girlfriend Faye Daniels, and cameramen Jack Anders and Mark Tomaso. After a few days of traveling, the film details how the crew staged all the footage for their documentary by terrorizing and torturing the natives. Despite Monroe's objections, the television studio Pan American still wishes to air the footage as a legitimate documentary. In order to change their minds, Monroe shows the station's executives the film's final reels, so they could see first hand how the crew's fate came to be." (uncut 95 min)

Lucifer Rising (1972)

 

This is the most recognizable work, at least by title, of Kenneth Anger. Lucifer Rising is on the line with authentic poetic surrealism that intertwines with works made before 1972. Despite that, it's less on the satanistic front than Invocation of My Demon Brother, which is dated in the Summer of Love. From editing standpoint, Lucifer Rising is less chaotic than Anger's older films; it deals with author’s view of ancient Egypt (through Crowley’s prism and philosophy), where Lucifer is translated as Lightbringer, while psychedelic scenes evoke themes such as transmigration of soul, that is connected with setting.
